Sierra Heitkamp for Barney City Council

Sierra Heitkamp is the eldest child of Jason and Sherry Heitkamp.  She grew up in the SE corner of North Dakota, where she is still blessed to call home.  After graduating from Wyndmere Public High School, Sierra attended North Dakota State University, earning degrees in Agriculture Economics, and Political Science. 

Sierra started with NDYR at our first state convention in 2017 as our first elected NDYR National Committeewomen.  Since that time, she has remained connected to the organization in a variety of capacities.  Sierra has worked with various political campaigns and nonprofits, most notably as the former Executive Director of North Dakota Right to Life.  She currently serves on the board of the North Dakota Conservative Advocates, spending time working towards the betterment of her community and state. 

We believe that Sierra’s experience makes her a well-prepared and qualified candidate to serve the citizens of Barney as their new city council member.

Please join us, and vote for Sierra in the June 14 Primary Election as she seeks to continue to apply conservative, principled leadership in her town.  

We are excited for the future as Young Republicans continue to have a voice in our great state.
